ROUFFIAGUET (Pronounced Roofy-a-gay) is a collection of three domestic properties formerly part of the Chateau de Rouffiac estate. Located near the borders of the Dordogne, Haute Vienne and Correze,
ROUFFIAGUET is ideally placed for exploring the many places of interest in the locality, be they archaeology sites, historic chateaux, surprising gardens, unique events or simply picturesque villages and countryside.

The market town of St Yrieix (famous for the fine white clay used in the production of the renown porcelain of Limoges) is 9 miles north with a delightful old centre. Larger market towns are Limoges to the north, Brive to the south east, south west is Perigueux and Sarlat to the south. Combining history, picturesque beauty and a thriving market is the town of Montignac approximately 40 minutes car journey away and en-route to Sarlat.
The region immediately around
ROUFFIAGUET is known for its cattle (Limousin), apple orchards, chestnut and walnut plantations and the Perigordine gourmet delights of
foie gras and
confit de canard.
Situated in gently rolling countryside adjacent to the Lac de Rouffiac, the Dordogne's largest such lake, and secluded in 4 hectares of woodland and meadows,
ROUFFIAGUET offers all the tranquillity needed for a restful holiday and an ideal base from which to explore or simply soak up the sun and relax.
