Contained within the sympathetically restored Grange, ROUFFIAGUET provides three spacious one bedroom apartments, referred to as Gites Noix/Walnut, Noisette/Hazelnut and Chataigne/Chestnut, and having a southern aspect. Even on the hottest of days the rooms stay cool as they have thick stone walls, double glazing and shutters to shade the interior from the sun.

Each apartment comprises a comfortable Salon with corner kitchen facilities and large bedroom with a double bed (separate beds are available on request) and en-suite shower room facilities.

Television sets (French and English free to view tv channels) together with CD/DVD players are provided as well as a range of English (three pin) and French (two pin) electrical sockets. Gites are also provided with all necessary bedding and towels but we would ask that visitors bring their own towels for use around the swimming pool. If you are flying and would like to save space you can hire pool towels for 2€ per week.

Immediately to the south east of the Grange, in a sheltered part of the site but with a tantalising view of the Chateau de Rouffiac, is the 12m x 5m x 1.4m swimming pool in which to lounge, exercise or simply float whilst soaking up the sunshine.

Gite Noix faces southeast with a view towards the swimming pool and is situated on the ground floor with a private entrance.

The accommodation which is on the ground floor, comprises comfortable salon with corner kitchen and dining table, a storage cupboard and access to the bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and drawer unit.

This room is large enough to comfortably contain either one cot or one single child's bed if required. (To compliment this option an additional dining chair/highchair is also available but please note, there is a small additional charge of £2.80 / €3 per night for a child. The bedroom gives access to en-suite facilities with shower, toilet and wash basin. For those with mobility problems please note that there is a step up into the shower. There is a suction grab handle.

Gite Noisette faces southwest with a view over the patios towards gardens and benefits from morning and afternoon sunshine.

It is arranged on two levels with ground floor salon, corner kitchen, dining table and staircase to first floor double bedroom (separate beds on request, room for one child 3€/£2.80 per night) and access to en-suite facilities of shower, toilet and wash basin.

Gite Chataigne offers views across the swimming pool and open countryside towards the lake and benefits from morning sunshine.

It is situated on the first floor with countryside views and morning sunshine. It is accessed via a shared (with Gite Noisette) lobby entrance. The accommodation comprises comfortable salon with corner kitchen and dining table and access to the bedroom with double bed, wardrobe and drawer units. This room is large enough to comfortably contain either one cot or one single bed if required. There is a small charge for a child of £2.80/€3 per night. The bedroom gives access to en-suite facilities with shower, toilet and wash basin.

We appreciate that many visitors may wish to smoke but we would ask that you do not do so in any of the rooms, both for insurance purposes and in consideration of non-smokers who will be occupying the rooms after your departure.

Basic cleaning equipment is provided and washing/ironing facilities of the main house are available by arrangement should they be needed. We would appreciate the apartments being left in a clean and tidy condition, suitable for our next visitors.

We regret that we are unable to cater for pets at the present time.

For those with mobility problems, perhaps you have sprained your ankle or have your foot in plaster or have arthrtic knees/hips, we have 2 wheelchairs for your use.They are light weight and fold easily into a car boot.

If the weather should turn cool and cloudy or damp, then we have a games room in the unrenovated part of the barn. Or if temperatures go up then it is nice and cool!
